Terah Tex was started in October 2018 by Harry Daniel Raj and joined a year later by Mohanraj as partner. Between them they run the Guindy unit day to day — which is why the person answering a bulk enquiry can also answer for the stitching.
“I started Terah Tex in October 2018 with a vision to build a trusted and professional apparel company.
My experience as a pilot has shaped my character and my approach to business — it taught me discipline, precision, responsibility, integrity, calm decision-making and attention to detail. I believe in being honest, dependable, approachable and committed to doing things the right way.
Today I am determined to take Terah Tex from a homegrown company to a globally recognised brand, built on quality, trust, innovation and long-term relationships.”
Mr. Mohanraj joined Terah Tex as a partner in 2019, bringing with him valuable experience, practical insight and a strong commitment to the company’s growth.
Known for his dedication, reliability, patience and people-focused approach, he plays an important role in strengthening our operations and our relationships with clients and partners.
Together the partners share one vision: building Terah Tex into a trusted global apparel brand, driven by quality, integrity, teamwork and long-term relationships. In practice that means the four things below are not negotiated away to win an order.
Fabric bought at mill level and inspected on receipt, cut in single lots, checked in-line and again before packing.
Quotations itemise fabric, composition, garment and branding separately, so nothing is hidden inside a single per-piece number.
Cutting masters, operators, embroiderers and checkers work in one unit, so a problem is solved on the floor rather than escalated to a vendor.
Specifications stay on file so the fourth repeat order still matches the first. That is what keeps clients for years rather than for one season.
