What we manufacture

Every role on the contract, kitted from one order

An FM contract puts eight different roles on one site, and the client judges all of them on how the uniform looks at 7am. These are the garments we build most often, colour coded so a supervisor can read the floor at a glance.

Facility housekeeping tunics and kurta sets — light blue tunic with side pockets, grey kurta-style set and maroon A-line pinafore

Housekeeping tunics & kurtas

Poly-cotton tunics, kurta sets and A-line pinafores with side pockets, cut for movement and repeated wash without losing shape or shade.

Cleaning staff two-tone shirt and trouser sets in maroon, navy and grey with reinforced pockets and colour blocking

Cleaning staff shirt & trouser sets

Two-tone shirt and trouser sets in maroon, grey or navy, with reinforced pockets and colour blocking that keeps stains visually contained.

Pantry and cafeteria uniforms — white shirt with maroon waistcoat, light blue shirt with apron and cap, and chef-style pantry jacket

Pantry & cafeteria uniforms

Shirts with waistcoats or aprons, chef-style jackets and caps for pantry teams, in light shades that read as clean in a food area.

Technician and maintenance sets — navy cotton drill with tool belt, grey poly-cotton work set and two-tone HVAC set

Technician & maintenance sets

Cotton drill or poly-cotton work sets for electrical, plumbing, HVAC and lift technicians, with tool pockets and department identification.

Supervisor and site-in-charge uniforms — navy formal set with ID holder, charcoal blazer and navy polo with formal trousers

Supervisor & site-in-charge

Formal shirt and trouser sets, polos or blazers that separate supervisory staff from the floor team while staying in the same palette.

Facility uniform accessories — bib and waist aprons, caps, hairnet, gloves-loop belt, name badges and ID lanyard

Aprons, caps & accessories

Bib and waist aprons, caps, hairnets, gloves-loop belts and name badges, all branded to the same shade card as the main sets.

Fabric

Fabric that survives a daily wash cycle

FM uniforms are washed more often than any other category and replaced fastest when the fabric fails. Cloth is bought at mill level from authorised dealers for Raymond, Mafatlal, Gangotri and Qmax, and chosen for wash life rather than for the lowest per-metre rate.

POLY-COTTON
Daily wash, holds shade

The workhorse for housekeeping and cleaning teams. Dries fast between shifts, resists shrinkage, and holds colour through repeated industrial wash.

POLY-VISCOSE
Supervisors and front areas

Better drape and finish for supervisory and client-facing staff in lobbies, receptions and mall concourses.

COTTON DRILL
Technicians and plant rooms

Higher GSM for maintenance, electrical and HVAC teams working with tools, heat and grease.

COLOUR CODING
Locked to a shade card

Each role is fixed to a shade and recorded, so a replacement batch nine months later still matches the team already on site.

Process

From your role split to site-wise cartons

Six steps, each one signed off before the next begins. Nothing goes to bulk until you have held the sample and approved the shade.

01
Requirement & site check

Headcount, department split, wash cycle and the garment you use today are reviewed before anything is quoted.

02
Fabric & shade approval

Swatches and GSM options put in front of you, shade fixed against a card and recorded on file.

03
Sample & size set

Pattern made, sample stitched, size-set trial kit sent to you for fit sign-off before bulk.

04
Single-lot cutting

One lay per style, so shade does not drift between the first piece and the last.

05
Stitching & branding

Reinforced stitching, embroidery, printing and name patches applied in our own unit.

06
Inspection & site-wise dispatch

Measurement and finish checked, then packed size-wise in labelled cartons for each site on the contract.

FAQ

FM uniform questions we get every week

If your client has specified a palette or a dress code in the contract, send it with the enquiry — the quotation is written against it.

Who manufactures facility management uniforms in Chennai for bulk orders?

+

Terah Tex manufactures facility management uniforms in Chennai for FM companies, IT parks, malls, hospitals, hotels and corporate campuses. Cloth is bought at mill level from authorised dealers, cut in single lots and stitched in our own unit, so shade and measurement stay consistent across every role on the contract.

Can you supply different colours for different roles in one order?

+

Yes. Role-wise colour coding is standard on FM orders — housekeeping, janitorial, pantry, technical and supervisory staff can each be fixed to their own shade, with each shade recorded so replacements match later.

Which fabric is used for housekeeping uniforms?

+

Poly-cotton in the 180 to 200 GSM range is the usual choice, because it dries fast between shifts, resists shrinkage and holds colour through a daily industrial wash. Poly-viscose is used for supervisory and client-facing staff, and cotton drill for technicians working with tools and heat.

Do you deliver separately to each site on the contract?

+

Yes. Orders are packed size-wise in labelled cartons per site, so stores does not have to re-sort on arrival. Multi-site deliveries across Chennai and pan-India run under a single order.

How do new joiners get uniforms mid-contract?

+

Size ratios and specifications are recorded per order, so a top-up batch for new joiners is manufactured to the same shade card and pattern as the original delivery.

What is the minimum order quantity?

+

Minimum quantity depends on the garment and the fabric, because mill cloth is bought in set lengths. Tunics and shirt sets carry lower minimums than coveralls or blazers. Share your role split and headcount and Terah Tex confirms the minimum for your specification.

Do you offer annual rate contracts for FM companies?

+

Yes. FM companies that hire through the year can fix specification and per-piece pricing for a defined period, so replenishment does not require fresh negotiation on every mobilisation.

How do I get a quotation?

+

Submit the enquiry form with your role split, headcount per site and any client-specified palette, or call and WhatsApp +91 8925574151. A fabric recommendation and per-piece quotation follows within one working day.
